After numerous long nights and cups of cold-brew coffee-fueled code edits, we finally submitted our first-ever mobile app to be reviewed for publishing on the Google Play Store. It was a nail-biting six days, but the time finally arrived and we received the notification that the app has been rolled out and is live!

At launch, we first decided to release the app with a price of $1.99...primarily because of the decision to not incorporate any kind of ads in the app as a means of revenue. We wanted the app to remain ad-free and be paid for by awesome app-users such as yourselves! While this seemed all well and good at first, there soon arose doubts about charging anything for the initial release of the app.
After all, we want to get a complete picture of the level of demand for such a companion mobile application...it may not help things if you need to pay for something you don't even know you'd really want to use yet!
As a result, we have decided to change the application listing from 'paid' to 'free'...and guess what? Still no ads!
The newly minted free version will remain the exact same app, and an addition 'pro' version will be released sometime in the near future. The primary difference between the two will come down to overall customization of data feeds:
The 'free' version will have a sensor feed overview for both a Living Room and Bedroom sensor.
The names for these feeds will remain hard-coded, meaning that users will have to make the slight adjustment to their sensors code to rename their data feed to match the names the app will look to retrieve.
The 'pro' version will allow the users to keep whatever feed names they have already been using with their web dashboard.
There will be a section for adding the names of the feeds that the app will use to retrieve values for.
Even though the app just launched, we are already constantly working on small improvements and updates for future releases. We are extremely grateful to those willing to check out our app and give us their feedback!
